Become a STEM teacher<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In Finland, STEM subject teachers almost always hold a university degree. In grades 1\u20136 of basic education, STEM subjects are usually taught by class teachers who have a Master\u2019s degree in Education. In grades 7\u20139 and at the upper secondary level, the teachers are typically subject teachers with a Master\u2019s degree. Many teacher students also choose to qualify as both class and subject teachers, earning a double qualification. In universities of applied sciences and especially in universities, teachers usually hold a doctoral degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
