The courses are free of charge and open to everyone, and it\u2019s easy to join! Here\u2019s how to participate in an online course:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/digicampus.fi\/course\/index.php?categoryid=145\">Click your way to DigiCampus through this link.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Log in with your existing account, Google account, HAKA login, or create a new user account without any of the above.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the course you want and then choose <em>Self-enrolment \u2013 Enrol me in this course<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A warm welcome to the course! On the course homepage, you will find an introduction and instructions for completing the course.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>On DigiCampus, you can find the following courses we offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">StarT LUMA: Collaborative project-based learning in STEAM education<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>How do I create a collaborative, project-based learning unit aligned with current research on the topic? How can I support my students&#8217; meaningful learning in STEM \/ STEAM education? How can I use a project-based approach as a part of the curriculum?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The course <em>StarT LUMA: Collaborative project-based learning in STEM education<\/em> is designed to support teachers and educators (from pre-school education to upper secondary education) in doing all that. After the course, participants will<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>be familiar with the StarT LUMA programme<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>be familiar with the essential features of project-based learning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>know how to design PBL in STEM education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have multiple PBL modules ready to be implemented<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The course is a part of the StarT LUMA programme. It is organized by the University of Helsinki and LUMA Centre Finland, a network of Finnish universities with 20 years of experience in STEM education, in close collaboration with other international partners of the StarT LUMA programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The course consists of two modules. The first module contains the compulsory part of the course and is worth two ECTS credits (c. 50 h of work).
