The LUMAT Science Research Forum organizes three types of events annually: research seminars, research symposia, and a summer school, focusing primarily on research in mathematics, science, and technology education. In LUMAT Research Seminars, researchers and students present their latest research in mathematics, science, and technology education, and receive peer feedback. With Research Seminars, we aim to foster connections between science education researchers in different universities, regardless of your field of study. Other research-related topics, such as research methods, can be discussed according to participants\u2019 needs and interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The next LUMAT Research Seminar will be held in October 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The next LUMAT Research Symposium will be held on the 1st of December 2026. Registration and programme will be published closer to the event. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The 15th<\/sup>\u00a0Annual LUMAT Research Symposium 2025 was held online on Friday, May 23rd, from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm (EEST, UTC+03:00). The event was free of charge, and the symposium was held in English. The symposium program featured presentations on the latest research in mathematics, science, and technology education. The theme of the 2025 symposium was Promoting STE(A)M learning through non-formal education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Every year, the symposium is open to scholars worldwide. The primary target groups are STE(A)M teachers at various levels, researchers, teacher educators, and teacher students.
