The conference brings together teachers and researchers to network and interact, report results and exchange ideas on current education research.<\/p>\n<p>The 11th\u00a0<span class=\"caps\">NFSUN<\/span>\u00a0conference is organized by the University of Helsinki and it will take place on June 4th &#8211; 6th 2014 at the Kumpula Science Campus in Helsinki.<\/p>\n<p>Prominent international researchers have been engaged as keynote speakers.\u00a0<strong>Doris Jorde<\/strong>, professor of Science Education from the University of Oslo, Lecturer\u00a0<strong>Majken Korsager<\/strong>\u00a0also from the University of Oslo and professor\u00a0<strong>Alex Str\u00f8mme<\/strong>\u00a0from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology will give insights into the session entitled\u00a0<em>\u201cOpening the science classroom to the opportunities for learning with technology\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Judith S. Lederman<\/strong>\u00a0(Director of Teacher Education) and professor\u00a0<strong>Norman G. Lederman<\/strong>\u00a0both from the Illinois Institute of Technology will also give keynote lectures.\u00a0<strong>Kirsti Lonka<\/strong>, professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Helsinki will introduce the role of technologies in innovative pedagogy and in engaging the learner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Call for papers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Present you results and gain visibility for your research at NFSUN 2014!\u00a0Call for papers\u00a0for NFSUN 2014 is now open. Research work and contributions can be submitted through an on-line form in three categories: i) a paper presentation ii) a poster presentation or iii) a symposium.
