{"id":15118,"date":"2018-10-30T15:40:52","date_gmt":"2018-10-30T13:40:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.luma.fi\/en\/?p=1010"},"modified":"2018-10-30T15:40:52","modified_gmt":"2018-10-30T13:40:52","slug":"call-for-presentations-for-the-lumat-2019-symposium","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.luma.fi\/en\/news\/2018\/10\/30\/call-for-presentations-for-the-lumat-2019-symposium\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Presentations for the LUMAT 2019 Symposium"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LUMA Centre Finland has the honour and pleasure to invite current and prospective math, science and technology teachers from all educational levels, teacher educators and researchers, developers and other experts to <strong>Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4, Finland, from 5th to 6th June 2019<\/strong>, to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.luma.fi\/en\/lumat-2019\/\"><strong>International LUMAT Symposium: Research and Practice in Math, Science and Technology Education (LUMAT) 2019<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The theme of the symposium is\u00a0<strong>Future of Work, Research and Education<\/strong> in the context of math, science and technology education.<\/p>\n<h2>The call for presentations for LUMAT 2019 is open<\/h2>\n<p>Please note that only oral presentations given live at the symposium venue are possible.\u00a0The LUMAT symposium is free of charge, however we will not cover any travel costs of presenters.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyyti.fi\/reg\/Call_for_Presentations_for_LUMAT_2018_2590\"><strong>Form for submitting the proposals for LUMAT 2019<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The deadline for submitting the proposals is\u00a0<strong>February 3rd, 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The proposals are evaluated by the local scientific sub-committee.
