Study visits for schools

Would you like to explore studying and research at universities in an easy, engaging way with your group? LUMA Science Labs make it possible! In the Science Labs, students and pupils from different educational levels can learn about higher education through hands-on study visits. Many of the labs also offer virtual visits, allowing participants to participate from afar without the time and expense of travel. So feel free to explore the offerings of our various science and technology labs!

The topics and methods of the study visits are designed to support teaching in line with the Finnish national curricula. The labs’ services are mostly free for teachers and students. During the visits, students aren’t the only ones getting new ideas about science. Teachers also receive ideas and tips for organizing their lessons. In this way, the study visits also support teachers’ professional development.
