Background

LUMAT Journals was launched in 2013, due to a growing need for an online platform that publishes research articles and conference proceedings on math, science and technology education, written in Finnish and Swedish. Submissions written in English were also accepted from the very start. Initially, all accepted manuscripts, ranging from conference proceedings to review articles, were published on the same platform. However, in 2016, the journal was divided into two separate journals to help distinguish the type of publication at hand, as well as to clarify the review process. Today, LUMAT Journals publish scientific work from around the world.
