In 2025, the activities of the LUMA Centre Finland network grew and diversified significantly, reaching approximately 175 000 children, young people, and teachers across Finland. The expansion of activities was particularly evident in the development of new delivery formats and improved accessibility: alongside study visits, remote and outreach activities became increasingly prominent, and the network’s support extended to a growing number of schools and daycare centres. At the same time, the network reached 87 % of Finland’s municipalities. The year 2025 was also a year of transition, as the leadership of LUMA Centre Finland was transferred from Maija Aksela to Jan Lundell.
